Plastic Point Donations
We collaborate with 10 different schools in Vietnam. Some school donate the plastic points to NGO's such as Blue Dragon, Children's Education Foundation or Hearing and Beyond or the individual students redeem their plastic points to free sustainable products.
Singapore International School Van Phu Ha Noi
The students, parents and teachers bring clean plastic waste to the school through out the week.
There are four dedicated bins at the school with sorting instructions. Not just plastic collects the plastic waste and convert the KG collected into toiletries for Blue Dragon Children's Foundation.
When the reusable bottles with shampoo, body wash and hand soap are empty we bring the bottles back to the the school for the students to refill them.
Hearing & Beyond Hoi An
Hearing & Beyond (H&B) is an NGO in Hoi An with 28 local students with hearing disabilities.
Not just plastic (NJP) collects plastic waste from Odyssey International School (OIS) in Hoi An two times a month and OIS donates all their plastic points to H&B.
We started to collaboration with OIS and H&B in September and Not just plastic has already donated reusable bottles of soap, body wash, floor cleaning and tooth paste tablets to H&B.
H&B students do also bring plastic waste from their homes to the school and NJP converts the KG points into products for the students.
St. Nicholas School Da Nang
In September and October we had 182 students from St. Nicholas School joining our workshops in Hoi An to learn how to segregate plastic waste for the 4 dedicated bins at their school.
We collect weekly and all the Plastic Points are converted into products which we donate products to Children's Education Foundation.
